Lara Hutchinson - Principal
I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the founding principal of Berry Creek Elementary School, bringing 25 years of
experience in education, including 5 years of dedicated service in Jarrell ISD. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to strong instructional leadership, a deep commitment to students, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with families, staff, and the broader community.
As the founding principal, I am committed to establishing a welcoming and supportive school culture where families are true partners in the educational process. I believe that strong family-school partnerships are essential to student success, and I am dedicated to creating opportunities for collaboration that support the highest levels of academic, social, and emotional growth for all students.
Opening a new school is a rare and meaningful opportunity, and I am deeply committed to the mission and vision of Jarrell ISD - inspiring and empowering every student to achieve their full potential. From the very beginning, our focus will be on creating a student-centered school where every child feels known, valued, and supported.
Berry Creek Elementary will be a place where families feel welcome, heard, and included, and students are provided with the skills, knowledge, and support they need to reach their full potential.
